The Rivers State National and State Assembly elections petition tribunal sitting at Block C, Rivers State Judiciary Complex, Port Harcourt, said it has received additional two petitions from two candidates that participated in the re-run elections of March 19,2016, bringing to twelve the total number of petitions received so far.
The two new petitions were received from:
Brave Wobo, defeated candidate of the APGA for Port Harcourt Federal Constituency I, against INEC and Ken Anayo Chikere of the PDP (as respondents)
Anthony Okocha, defeated candidate of the APC for Obio/Akpor Federal Constituency, against INEC and Ogundu Kingsley Chinda (as respondents).
It will be recalled that the tribunal had earlier recieved ten petitions for various petitioners drawn from just two political parties: the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Degema State Constituency: APC Lolo Braide (Petitioner) vs Inec and Farah Dagogo of the PDP (as respondents)
Emohua State Constituency: APC Chidi Julius Lloyd (Petitioner) vs Inec and Sam Ogeh of the PDP (as respondents)
Obio/Akpor State Constituency I: APC Collins Ordu vs Inec and Martin Amaewhule of the PDP (as respondents)
Obio/Akpor State Constituency II: APC Believe Wali vs Inec and Michael Okechukwu Chinda of the PDP (as respondents)
Omuma State Constituency: APC Leo Anyanwu vs Inec and Kelechi Godspower Nwogu of the PDP (as respondents)
Port Harcourt Federal Constituency II: APC Collins Owhonda vs Inec and Blessing Boma Nsiegbe of the PDP (as respondents)
Akuku Toru State Constituency II: PDP Tonye Awari Alalibo vs Inec and Benebo Fredrick Anabraba of the APC (as respondents)
Opobo/Nkoro State Constituency: PDP Adonye Diri vs Inec and Andrew Miller of the APC (as respondents).
