HON EMEKA ONOWU CONDEMNS MGBUOSHIMINI KILLINGS; CALLED ON SECURITY AGENTS NOT TO LEAVE ANY STONE UNTURNED IN UNRAVELLING THE PERPETRATORS OF SUCH HEINOUS ACT.
The Rivers State Commissioner for Special Duties and Leader of Non-indigenes in the state, Hon Onowu Emeka has condemned the Monday morning attack and killings at Mgbuoshimini in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the state.
Commenting on the attack on residents of Mgbuoshimini by yet to be identified gunmen, the Honourable Commissioner described such action as barbaric and wonder what joy do people derive in snatching the life of their fellow citizens without recourse.
Hon Onowu commiserate with those who lost their love ones and assured them of government readiness to bring the perpetrators to book in no distant time. In the same vein, Hon Emeka Onowu has called on security operatives in the state to shun partisan politics and fish out those involved in the early morning killings in Mgbuoshimini.
According to the Honourable Commissioner, security agencies should as a matter of public concern investigate thoroughly the remote causes of the incident and also ensure that anyone who is involved in the killings are made to face the full wrath of the law.
